✅ One step closer!
We are proud to announce that the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has officially approved Snyder ISD’s Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) designations for the 2024-2025 school year! This marks another significant step in recognizing and rewarding outstanding educators in our district.
In May, the District will announce the next group of teachers who will receive TIA designations. To date (not including recipients to be awarded this May), Snyder ISD has awarded:
8 Master teachers
7 Exemplary teachers
7 Recognized teachers
Not all school districts participate in the TIA program. Snyder ISD is proud to be one of nearly 600 districts statewide offering this opportunity to honor and reward teaching excellence. In fact, Snyder ISD was one of just 11 districts in Region 14 to be notified of this validation, emphasizing the high standards among our staff in cultivating exceptional teaching.
These prestigious designations are valid for five years and are noted on each recipient’s Texas teaching certificate. They also provide significant performance-based compensation. Over the past three years, designated teachers in Snyder ISD have received payments ranging from $6,748 to $26,955, supporting our ongoing commitment to recognize, reward, and retain top educators.
We look forward to celebrating even more of our exceptional teachers this spring!
