Standardized testing began April 10th. All STAAR and EOC testing dates are located on the SISD website and can be linked to your google calendar. Please review the 2017-18 Board approved school calendar under the parent tab located at the top of the website. As the year draws down, please keep in mind that there are no more student or staff holidays. Friday, May 25th is an early release day.  Graduation will begin at 8:00 this year.

Snyder ISD Gifted & Talented students (entering grades 1-10) are eligible to attend Hardin Simmons University's Camp Threshold this summer.

Camp Threshold is a weeklong day camp for GT students. Session 1 is July 9-13 and session 2 is July 16-20. Snyder ISD will provide transportation to the day camp sessions (both half-day and full-day) for those students who register to attend. Scholarships are available through Camp Threshold for those who qualify for financial assistance. Please click on "Read Full Article" for more info!

Don't Get ZAPPED At SHS!

The staff and faculty at SHS are working diligently to ensure that all students reach their academic goals. Students are highly encouraged to take advantage of the programs made available. The ZAP program "Zeros Aren't Permitted" is assigned to students that have zeros. Students with zeros are required to attend the Wednesday study hall in order to complete the assignments. ZAP is held in the student center during lunch.
