calendar

At the July Board of Trustees meeting, Snyder ISD administration presented proposed updates to the 2025–2026 academic calendar. The Board approved the changes, which reflect adjustments to the fall semester.

The primary goal of these updates is to maximize instructional time for students. Each change was carefully considered to ensure students benefit from the most consistent and effective learning environment possible. At the same time, the revised calendar accounts for staff development needs, campus events, and holidays.  There are no changes to the number of days students attend school, staff or student holidays, or professional development days.

School Hours

  • Elementary: 7:50 AM – 3:40 PM

    • Snyder Primary and Snyder Intermediate are working on additional improvements to further alleviate traffic congestion

  • Secondary: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
