Yesterday, students at Snyder Intermediate School had a unique opportunity to hear first-hand experiences from Snyder High School students about their cultural heritage. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฑ
Snyder High School foreign exchange students Hiroto Hayakawa from Japan and
Johanna Loffler from Germany gave students a glimpse into their life in their home countries. Fiona Jazexhiu, whose father grew up in Albania, shared traditions and insight about her familyโ€™s heritage. Based on the 4th and 5th-grade studentsโ€™ excellent questions, they were intrigued by their way of life!
Itโ€™s an excellent reminder to take the time to learn more about other people, cultures, and backgrounds!
