Dear Snyder Community,
It is an honor to have been named the Superintendent of Schools for Snyder ISD in May. My first official day on the job was July 1, 2022. However, I have been active and involved in the district throughout May and June. My wife, Janet, and I have settled into our home, experienced our first 4th of July in the park as Snyder residents, and have enjoyed meeting many of you in the community.
I accepted this job at Snyder ISD because of the tradition of excellence and opportunities for growth. In the past month, Iβve been encouraged by what Iβve observed. Iβve learned that our Board of Trustees, staff, and families want to help students achieve their full potential. Iβve also had the pleasure of meeting several students. It is evident they are hardworking, talented, respectful, and eager to do well. I have also seen this community pull together and extend tremendous support and compassion to our Tiger family.
I am confident that if we work together, we can achieve what is best for students. When we are faced with challenges, we will work together to develop a plan and continue moving forward.
I look forward to meeting more of our families and members of the Snyder community. The district will host a meet-and-greet soon. If we donβt have an opportunity to meet in the coming weeks, I hope to see you on campus and around Snyder. I am excited about what the future holds for Snyder ISD!
Sincerely,
Bob Rauch
