FAFSA In Person Help Session

FAFSA Help Night

October 18th
5pm - 7pm

Snyder High School Cafeteria

Seniors and families, don't forget: The TEA requires that all 2023 graduates complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). This should be completed by the end of December 2022.  It can help you earn money for college, trade, or technical school after graduation!

1. The student AND the parent must create a FAFSA ID here: https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/... (create this 3 days before attending the FAFSA night)

2. Get prepared for the meeting.  Bring your FAFSA logins, Chromebook, driver's license, most recent tax return, and social security number

3. We will hold 3  FAFSA Help Nights

  • We will hold FAFSA help nights in the Snyder High School Cafeteria from 5pm - 7pm on:
    • October 18th
    • November 8th (Spanish Night)
    • December 6th
  • These events are for the student and the parent/guardian to attend. You aren't required to attend one of the FAFSA help nights and may complete the application on your own.  However, many families found the help sessions to be beneficial!

4. Don't hesitate to ask questions!  Call the high school at 325-574-8800, direct message Mrs. Early or Ms. Beaver through ParentSquare or email kearly@snyderisd.net or ebeaver@snyderisd.net

5. Watch the video replay at (10:40) to learn more about FAFSA or watch the entire video to learn more about preparing for college.
