STUDENTS HAVING PHOTO TAKEN

A group of Snyder High School students had a unique opportunity to show animals at the Scurry County Stock Show. Each student was paired with another student who was more experienced in showing animals. The "Scurry Stars," as they have become known, took to the ring like pros.

Students had the opportunity to show chickens, goats, lambs, and pigs. There were plenty of high-fives, fist bumps, and smiles. Whitley Anderson, a Junior at SHS, spearheaded the program and hopes to see it grow in the years to come.
