One picture and a 35-word message is $65 Two photos - $130. Parents can email pictures to (darnold@snyderisd.net) or they can bring/mail the picture to Mrs. Arnold at 3801 Austin Ave, Snyder, Texas 79549 (no larger than a 5x7 please). Payment, dedication, and photos are due on Nov. 1st. No late entries will be taken.

Reminder! Monday is a professional development day for all staff and faculty which means a student holiday for the kids! Enjoy your day off students!

SISD Administration will hold three community meetings to discuss the educational framework for the two pathways discussed during the October 7th Community Meeting. Please make an effort to attend one of the meetings. Each meeting will provide the same information. Please join us in the SJHS cafeteria from 6-7.

Seniors, May will be here before you know it! There will be a college readiness meeting in the Student Center on Thursday, 9/26 at 6pm. SHS, counselor Labeth Carter, will discuss FAFSA and will provide you with multiple resources. Please bring your parents/ guardians.

SHS drone classes are back in action! Students in Scott Whittenburg's class are becoming familiar with the devices and are excited to begin the process of earning their pilot licenses!

SHS Culinary Art students submitted items in the South Plains Fair in Lubbock! Items will be on display in the Women's Building located on the south end of the grounds. The fair will run from Sept. 20-28th. Instructor Lisa Butler will keep us posted on the results!

Senior parents/guardians: Don't miss the meeting tonight from 7:30-8:30 at SHS! This year will be packed full of activities and you will want to stay on top of things!

The yearbook company sent a few extra books, which are being sold for $75 on a first-come, first-served basis. Books can be picked up before and after school or between classes in Room 229. Have you missed an opportunity to complete the drug policy presentation? Tonight is the last chance before school begins! Stop by the SJHS campus during the 7& 8th-grade open house tonight from 5:30-7:00 and take care of business! Presentations will run every 15 minutes in the library. Parents must accompany their student! All incoming 7th-12th graders UIL participants must attend a presentation. Keep in mind: *Each participant only has to attend one presentation. *All presentations are the same regardless of campus, presenter, or organization. Same policy district-wide. *Parent and participant(s) must attend together.
